History
Earth-Four was home to the heroes of Charlton Comics, a publishing company acquired by DC. It was created to phase their heroes into DC's continuity.
Earth-Four was introduced during the Crisis on Infinite Earths, and then merged with Earth-One, Earth-Two, Earth-S, and Earth-X to form one composite universe. Survivng heroes include Captain Atom and The Question.
